Strategy Benchmark Assessment

It may be important to have ‘feel good factors’, it may also be important to ‘feel good’ but without a measurement it will be impossible for those within your organization to recognize the objectives for the organization and how their goals fit within those objectives.

For example, if marketing, advertising and customer service do not share their objectives of the sales team then how can they effectively assist sales to achieve their goals. Certainly sales cannot achieve their own goals without the assistance from those and many other departments, so unless those other departments understand what is happening to the sales figures, they cannot give the ‘right’ support to the sales team.

Thus it is important for the strategy and the objectives to be written down and reviewed on a regular basis so that all of the team may give their ideas and assistance to improving the sales department’s performance.
